Programs for Kids

Through these programs TVA helps to support learning and enhance educational opportunities for children in the Valley.

Partners in Education
1st class partnersTVA’s Partners in Education program was formed to strengthen the bonds between TVA and schools in the Tennessee Valley. The aim is to contribute to the academic and personal growth of students by sharing ideas and resources, helping them gain the knowledge and skills they need to meet the challenges of the future. TVA employees assist with activities and field trips, provide materials for projects, and help out in a variety of other ways.

At this time, 85 schools are Partners in Education with TVA organizations in locations across the Valley.

If you are interested in having your school participate in Partners in Education, please call Teresa Dillard at (865) 632-4554, or e-mail him at tvainfo@tva.gov (Attn.: Teresa Dillard).
